Chris & Sophie

Our weekend was wonderful! Filled with remembering all of those who have given their lives in service to this country. This would include my father, Colonel G.E. Lindgren, USMC Retired. Granted, my father did not perish in the Vietnam War, but regardless, he selflessly fought for our Country. He served 30+ years as in the USMC. I spent my life growing up on Military bases. He left to serve in Vietanam when my mother was just a few months pregnant with my older brother, and returned home from Vietnam when he was almost a year old. Thank you, Daddy, for the sacrifices that you AND my mom have made!
We spent the day at our friend's house on Fisher Island. Since we live 'out west' (the 'burbs) it was wonderful to be beach-side and near all of the gorgeous action such as cruise ships heading out to sea! Sorry there are no picutures of me, but alas, I was the one behind the camera snapping away!
I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day!
Mary

What a beautiful view and a wonderful family day! I can't get over how big Sophie and Livie are! And they are just precious in their swimsuits.

Sounds like you had a great day! I think Livie looks so much like Lindsay in the picture where Lindsay is eating. Beautiful pictures.

What a great weekend! The girls look beautiful. :-) Thanks to your dad for his service. I too am a military child----spent my whole life moving with the Navy (only to marry an Army guy!).
